SOUND FAQ
Q. Doesn't work in Google Chrome
A. Boleadora uses the streaming "wma" wrapper so make
sure your computer knows that. Go to Control Panel > Default Programs
> Associate a file type or protocol with a program. Scroll down and
make sure that "wma" is associated with your favorite player such as Windows
Media.
Q. Why did you change the player?
A. Until mid-July 2011 Real Player was the
only way to listen to the music here. This strict
limitation was an issue since many people, particularly overseas,
may choose to use one of many other players or a default player
already installed on their computer. The music here plays with
the popular streaming "wma" wrapper. The underlying
playback format is Windows Media "wma". This wasn't my initial first
choice, but it has become universal and has a high "data efficiency" as they
say. I made lots of tests before choosing WM.
Q. I used to use Real Player to listen to the
music, and now I can't any longer.
A. The Real Player still works fine, but you may
need to change one of its settings:
1. Go to Preferences > Content > Media Types
2. Check the "MP3 Audio PlayList (wma)" option
